Our Process

Step One

We expertly prepared the surface of your existing concrete floor. Perfect surface profiles include expert cleaning and surface repair. Our tools and techniques are specifically chosen to do quality work at affordable prices. This is what we do. Let us do the job for you. We clean it, repair any current cracks, and prepare the entire floor surface for the decorative stain of your choice.

Step Two

We apply the decorative stain of your choice. How? First, of course, we mask off floor area to protect surrounding walls, door frames, etc. With expert precision, we dilute stain with water to the desired ratio We use both spray and brush application to achieve perfect coverage on first coat. Depending on your concrete, temperatures, humidity and air flow, drying time may vary. Ideally, the stain will dry to touch in 15-20 minutes. Total cure time is Let the newly applied stain dry. ; however, the total cure time is 24 hours. It is important to allow the full drying time. Concrete Solutions assures the best quality and will state the amount of time needed for the stain to cure. This is the first coat. Then we will add a second layer of stain finishing. Concrete Solutions will repeat if more color intensity is desired. Depending on the type of staining, other coats can be added after a few hours. Your satisfaction is our goal.

Step Three

Once the stain meets your desired look, we handle cleanup. Here is our standard cleanup process: We rinse our application with clean water until the water runs clear. We neutralize the stain with appropriate application of necessary stain setting solutions. Concrete Solutions has the right tools to loosen any stubborn residue before the final rinsing. When we’ve removed residue to our satisfaction, we believe you will be very pleased by the look of your Stained Finishing Concrete floor.

Step Four

The finishing protective coat. The protective coating determines the gloss of your newly stained concrete flooring. Concrete Solutions has the right tools to apply your protective coating for your perfectly stained finish. Most stain manufacturers recommend applying two coats of sealer for optimum durability; we at Concrete Solutions agree. We apply the first coat and allow it to dry thoroughly. We apply the second coat for quality and durability.
